Mobility itself implies the management of a large number of very delicate personal data, such as locations, routes and the possibility of carrying out automated treatments to profile users and guarantee them the best experience in using the app.
All this requires very stringent technical and organizational measures, the need to develop a DPIA (Data Protection Impact Assessment) and to ensure that the risks for the data subjects are minimal and do not involve high risks for the freedom and rights of individuals. In this we are supported by the Cybersecurity and Data Protection division of T.net which has among its components certified professionals according to UNI 11697: 2017.
Through the Smart Mobility application it is possible to monitor:
- the flow of vehicles and pedestrians
- the condition of health of the environment
- the status of the parking lots
- emergency management
- accidents
and much more…
For example, the parking system can be integrated into the service for Limited Traffic Zones (ZTL), with public transport, but also with intermodal information such as third-party buses, railways, private transport, etc. For traffic planning optimization, buses and shuttles can be geolocated. It is also possible to set up cultural, architectural or food and wine itineraries showed and accessible on a map.
The Mobility app allows you to have real-time information on the status of free parking spaces and receive advice on which route to get the fastest access to the desired destination (route planner). For example, in the case of the Taormina City Tech project, the developed MaaS application allows you to receive suggestions and information on accessing the center via the cable car, as an alternative and quick way to get to the heart of the “Pearl of the Ionian”.
The Parking System is also equipped with advanced destination guidance systems which, through a LED corridor that lights up progressively as the vehicle advances in the parking lot, indicates the nearest free space to the vehicle, to minimize driver stress, their anxiety and reduce the pollution from exhaust gases, the consumption of vehicles both due to the search times for a free stall.
