Through an integrated network, thanks to IoT sensors distributed in the environment, it is possible to detect, monitor and display data relating to:
With the correlation of data and intelligent algorithms, it is possible to develop predictive and / or deterministic models to monitor pollution trends and therefore allow to implement any corrective measures to protect the environment and the community.
Predictive alerts (via VMP – Variable Message Panel or via OBU – On Board Unit, if a C-ITS DSRC infrastructure is available) in case of:
• adverse weather conditions (heavy rain, fog or snow)
• automatic reduction of lanes or reduction of the speed of pollution (PM10, CO2, CO, Noise, etc.)
• application of alternating number plates or prohibitions for diesel vehicles
