Senior Safety smart home Kit makes the elderly man house a safe and continuously monitored area. Through smart devices, it is possible to monitor the physical and psychological health state of the person and, if necessary, to intervene facing the emergencies. T.net has developed a smart monitoring project, based on Senior Safety, for Aosta Valley Region. The project is named WelcomTech.
OBJECTIVE
Supply an instrument to Public Administration aimed to monitor habits, behaviors, and psychological health of the elderly.
METHOD
Some smart monitoring kits have been delivered to the authority, based on an adaptation of Senior Safety.
RESULT
Collected data allowed to understand the behaviors of the elderly and, if necessary, to intervene for giving assistance to them.
The operators of social services could control the psychophisical health state of the monitored subjects, checking the three different alert states (green, orange and red).
